Rukavina seconded, that the Commission recommend approval of <br />Joseph Juen's request for division of lot at 2376 Cohansey Street, Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Kellett~ Rukavina, CUshing~ G, Johnson and Grauel, Nays: None, <br /> <br />Planning File 929 Diarme Schenz request for renaming of Civic Center Drive to Ayd Drive <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Nhcs, Dianne Schenz indicated that she felt it would be good to have the name of the street <br />reflect some of Rosevilleis heritage, <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />ML Dahlgren indicated that it is best if the Civic Center property which includes the <br />existing City Hall, the New City Hall, the garage area and the ice arena not be cut up by <br />City streets, He felt that the name of Civic Center Drive would be more appropriate than <br />a regula.r street name because the citizens could more readily identify the fact that it <br />was the loca.tion of the City Hall and other civic functions, He suggested that perhaps <br />there were other methods of recognizing the Ayd Family for their contributions to the City. <br /> <br />ML Grauel indicated that he agreed that it should be left as Civic Center Drive. He <br />also felt a more appropriate means of recognizing the family could be found, <br />
