Johnson, Rukavina and GraueL <br />G, Johnson arrived at 6:35 P,M, Kellett arrlved at 6:34 P.M., left the <br />meeting at 7:25 P.M. and returned at 9:45 P,H. <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />Staff Present: Howard Dahlgren, Terry Kramer and Steve North <br /> <br />Approval of Hinutes <br /> <br />Mr. Mastel moved and My. Rukavina seconded, that the minutes of the regular meeting of <br />November 5, 1975 be approved, Roll Call, Ayes: Mas tel, Cushing, V. Johnson, Rukavina <br />and Grauel, Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 935 - Barry O'Meara request for prel1minary plat "Hall Edgewater Estates" <br />at about 3066 Arthur Street <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Barry O'~~ara indicated that he proposes to plat four single family home lots, one of <br />which has an existing home located on it. The southern portion of the property would be <br />platted as an outlot and will be sold to Ramsey CoUnty for open space, Mr. 0' Meara <br />stated that the plat provides a ten foot utility easement on the north edge of Lot No, 3. <br />This easement could be used for looping the watermain between Arthur Street and Mildred <br />Drive. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. V. Johnson inquired how access would occur for the open space property 0 ~1r. Dahlgren <br />indicated that there would be access from Lydia Avenue, Arthur Street and from the Lake <br />Johanna Junior High School property, <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />~1r. Rukavina moved and Mrs. Cushing seconded, that the Commission recommend approval of <br />Barry O'Meara's request for preliminary plat "Hall Edgewater Estates" at about 3066 Arthur <br />Street, Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, Cushing, G, Johnson, V, Johnson, Kellett, Rukavina and <br />Grauel. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 938 - Joseph ~st request for variance to building setback at 1943 Lexington <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Joseph ~st indicated that he proposes to construct a 9 car garage in an area which is <br />presently occupied by open parking, The garage will be located to within 2 feet of the <br />south property line located adjacent to the service station. The garage construction is <br />proposed because of numerous requests through the years from his tenants for garage space. <br />He stated that the exterior would be wood and that the color would hannonize with the <br />existing apartment buildings. He corronented that the cost of brick for the exterior would <br />alIOOst be prohibitive. <br />
