<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE HELD DECEMBER 6, 1965. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota was duly called and held at the Village Hall in the <br />said Village on December 6, 1965, at 8:00 p.m. The following <br />members were present: <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm~ <br />Trustees Curley, Grauel and Shields, <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />Goodrich <br /> <br />Member Shields <br />resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> <br />introduced the following <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1408 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION <br />UNDER THE POWER OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN LANDS FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF ACQUIRING AND MAINTAINING A PARK FOR THE VILLAGE OF <br />ROSEVILLE, AND DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE <br />INSTITUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council for the Village of <br />Roseville deems it necessary and expedient and in the best <br />interests of the Village and its inhabitants that the following <br />described lands be acquired for park purposes for said Village~ <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an election has been held within the Village <br />to determine whether the Village should issue bonds for the <br />purpose of financing a park system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the results of said election were to <br />proceed wifu the sale of bonds for the purpose of acquiring <br />parks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council has been advised by <br />competent advisors and committees that the following described <br />real property is desirable to acquire as a park~ and <br />
