~4, BL Jim Pinkney, representing Twin Tire, indicated that the sign would be a pylon sign for advertising of Hichelin tires, He stated that the sign presently located on the roof of the building would be removed DiscUSSIon Mr. Dahlgren commented that it appeared there would be room for the proposed pylon on the north portion of the property which would not require a setback variance. He inquired if the applicant felt it was necessary for the sign to be 30 feet rather than the permitted 2S feet, ~rro Pinkney responded that he thought the sign could be 30 feet high, My. Dahlgren commented that there were, in addition to the roof sign, several other SIgnS located on the facia of the bUIlding which exceed the permitted square footage, He stated that perhaps it would be appropriate for the applicant and the City staff to get together again and attempt to arrive at a better solution for the signing of the property, ~n. Chlebeck, City Clerk of Little Canada, inviting the Planning Commission to meet with the Little Canada Commission January 21, at the Little Canada City Hall to discuss future development on Rice Street, with particular reference to fast food establishmentso After considerable discussion, it was decided that Mrc North would contact Mr, Chlebeck and ask if it would be possible for the two staffs of the City to get together to discuss the Rice Street situation and pre- pare an agenda which could be used at a joint meeting of the two Planning Commissions, ~o North will contact the Planning Commission members with a future date for the joint meeting, Adjournment Mr. Rukavina moved and My, Grauel seconded, that the meeting be adjourned at 10:15 P.M, Roll Call, Ayes: Cushing, Go Johnson, Kellett, Rukavina, Mastel and Grauel.
