He stated that it had
been decided that the units would be sold and not rented.

Discussion

Mr. Harold Edstran, 185 Skillman, asked why all 23 tavnhouses could not have
access to Rice Street instead of having 11 of the units used Albemarle.

Mr. Roberts indicated that possibility had been explored but it had been decided
that the proposed plan was preferable.

Mr. North indicated that Mr. and Mrs. Ibger French, 2065 W:xrlbridge Street, had
suJ:mi tted a letter expressing their feeling that the granting of a rezoning
request would not be in the best interest of the area harecMl1ers. '!he letter
indicated that because the proposed plan has 11 of the 23 units exiting on to the
residential streets, there would be additional traffic hazards and noise pollution
for the haneowners. They felt that better plans could be submitted for the use of
the property that would not add such a high concentration of people and traffic to
the quiet residential streets.

Mrs. Julie ~ld, resident in the neighborhocxl, stated that if the additional
traffic were going to be placed on Albermarle that she hoped Albermarle could be
constructed through to County Road B or to EJ..Irer. She indicated that her primary
concern was the additional traffic.

Mr. Dahlgren ccmrented he did not feel there would be a traffic problem. He
stated there are many cuI de sacs in the city with rrore than 11 units and the
traffic fram these cuI de sacs are going out onto other residential streets. He
indicated that he did not see the additional traffic as a significant problem.
