<br />-3- <br /> <br />Planning File 1075 - Peter Cook request for special use permit and division of lot <br />at 1899 West Perirceter Drive <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Goyer of C & C Investrcents and Peter Cook presented their proposal to the <br />Planning Ccmnission. 'Ihey indicated that they plan to build a 30 x 70 foot structure <br />which would errploy between 40 and 50 people - Wendy'sG '!hey indicated it as a sit-dcwn <br />tyPe restaurant, although they do propose to have a dri veup window facility> 'Ihey went <br />on to indicate that their clientele ~s fran the 22 - 50 age group and presented <br />letters and programs to indicate that they are very active in civic and fund raising <br />affairs. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Vern Johnson indicated that it appeared, according to the site plan, that the free <br />standing sign was not located 30 feet back fran the right-of~way as per the City code. <br /> <br />Mr. Peter Cook indicated that they did not plan to apply for a variance for the sign and <br />the sign location would be adjusted so that portion of the code was net. <br /> <br />Reccmrendation <br /> <br />Mr. G. Johnson roved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that the Conmission recarrrend approval of <br />Peter Cook's request for special use permit and division of lot at 1899 West Perllreter <br />Drive, subject to the conditions that the developrrent be a::>nstructed in accordance to <br />tie plans as presented and dated September 18, 1977; and that the free standing sign be <br />placed in accordance with the code.
