Reccmrendation Mr. Rukavina rroved and Mr. Mastel seconded, that the Carmission reccmrend approval of Ed Cave and Sons reqrest for preliminary plat, rezoning from R-4 to R-l and B-l-B and special use permit at 2489 Rice Street. Planning File 1105 - Joyce Seaberg request for division of lot at 2240 St. Stephens Presentation Mrs. Seaberg indicated she proposed to divide the lot and that probably her son would be constructing a hone on the new lot. She stated that rrost of her neighbors have done the sane division of their property. Recormendation Mr. G. Johnson rroved and Mrs. Cushing seconded, that the Corrmission recorrrrend approval of Joyce Seaberg's request for division of lot at 2240 St. Stephens. Roll Call, Ayes: Rukavina, G. Planning File 1106 - City of Roseville request for vacation of right-of-way Western Avenue between Sandhurst and STH 36 Presentation Mr. Honcehll indicated that the property ONDer to the west of Western Avenue has previously received approval for platting his property which includes a cul de sac extension of Sandhurst Drive. 'Iherefore, Western Avenue from Sandhurst to Highway 36 is not needed. It is recamended that this portion of Western be vacated and that a pedestrian walkway and utility easement be obtained on the western 33 feet. Discussion Mr. Er'm'ett Peterson, property ONDer adjacent on the east to the portion of Western to be vacated indicated that he approves the vacation. Reccmnendation Mr'. Rukavina rroved. and !-'Irs. Cushing seconded, that the Corrrnission recornrrend approval of the City of Roseville' s request for vacation of right-of-way, Western Avenue between Sandhurst and STH 36 with the condition that pedestrian walkway and utility easerrents be obtained on the west 33 feet. Nays: None. other Business Mr. Dick I:Minell of Havard Dahlgren Associates, made a slide presentation to the Ccrnrnission relating to the preliminary report of the Inventory and Analysis of Existing Conditions for the update of the Canprehensive D9velopment Plan.
