<br />-12- <br /> <br />Planning File 1143 - Poppin Fresh Pies request for emended special use permit <br />for site plan approval at 1881 South TH 36 <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren stated that although the applicant was not present at the rreeting, he <br />suggested that the Comnission nay wish to consider the proposal. The applicant <br />proposes to revise the site plan to accarplish increased parking and also to provide <br />a walkway along the northerly parking area entrance to the building. Mr. Iahlgren <br />stated that the applicant has fotmd. the need for additional parking spaces and is <br />requesting the site plan be m::rlified in order to provide parking in front of the <br />restaurant along Cleveland Avenue. <br /> <br />In addition, the applicant has agreed to construct a walkway adjacent to the building. <br />Mr. Dahlgren suggested that the addition of the walkway is a substantial safety <br />inproverrent and that since other restaurants along Cleveland Avenue have been per- <br />mitted to park in front of the building, the proposal seerrs appropriate. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mrs. Dressler stated that although it appeared the proposal presented no <br />difficulties she felt that it should be the Comnission's policy not to approve an <br />application unless the applicant is present. <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina stated that he agreed with this policy. <br /> <br />Fecomrendation <br /> <br />Mr. Mastel roved, Mr. V. Johnson seconded, that the Comnission recomnend approval <br />of Poppin Fresh Pies' reqlEst for emended special use permit for site plan <br />approval at 1881 STH 36. Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, SiIrons, Cushing, G. Johnson, <br />V. Johnson. Nays: Dressler and Rukavina. <br /> <br />Adjournnent <br /> <br />G.
