<br />Roseville Planning Commission ~nutes <br />Wednesday, April 4, 1979 <br /> <br />The April 4, 1979 regular rreeting of the Roseville Planning Corrmission was <br />called to order by Chairman V. Johnson at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />~rs present: G. Johnson, SiIrons, Cushing, Dressler, Mastel, Rukavina, <br />V. Johnson. <br /> <br />M:mbers absent: None <br /> <br />Staff present: Council liaison Al Kehr, Howard Dahlgren, Ed M:::Guire and <br />Steve North <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Mr. G. Johnson rroved and Mrs. Cushing seconded, that the minutes of the regular <br />rreeting of M3.rch 7, 1979 be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, SiIrons, <br />Cushing, Dressler, Mastel, Rukavina and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1174 - '!hornas Short request for division of lot at 990 County <br />Road B <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the applicant proposes to divide his property <br />which has frontage on County Road B and Burke Avenue. He indicated that the <br />proposed lot fronting on County Road B would have a depth of 151 feet, width <br />of 95 feet, and a total area of 14,415 square feet. '!he lot fronting on Burke <br />Avenue would have a depth of 105 feet, width of 95 feet and a total area of <br />10,000 square feet. He pointed out that several of the lots to the west had <br />been divided in a similar fashion in the past. <br /> <br />Mr. Short indicated that in Mr. Dahlgren's written report to the Commission, <br />he had questioned why the lot fronting on B was so much larger than the lot <br />fronting on Burke. Mr. Short noted that the existing home fronting on County <br />Road B was setback quiste a distance from the front yard property line. He <br />stated that the rear of the existing house was approximately 40 feet from the <br />proposed new property line. '!he house could be located as close as 30 feet to <br />the property line according to the code. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Ron Mattila, 968 Burke, indicated that the neighborhood was prirPari1y <br />ranbler type hones and that because of the size of the proposed new lot the hone <br />would have to be a split level. <br /> <br />Mr. Max De Florian, resident three houses away, indicated that he was not <br />concerned at all about the proposed division. <br />
