Johnson <br />Council liaison Al Kehr, H<Mard Dahlgren, Charles Honchell and <br />Steve North <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Mrs. Cushing !rOved and Mr. Rukavina seconded, that the minutes of the regular rreeting <br />of July 11, 1979, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Sirrons, OJShing, Dressler, Rukavina <br />and Mastel. Nays: None. <br /> <br />I'1r. Sirrons indicated that he would like the minutes to shcM the reasons for a suggestion <br />made by a Corrmission rrerrber. <br /> <br />Planning File 1206 - Joyce Seaberg request for rezoning from R-l to R- 2 at 3100 North <br />Fairview Avenue <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the applicant owns a lot extending from Wheeler Street <br />to Fairview Avenue. '!here is currently a single faroi1y horre located on the eastern <br />portion of the lot. Mrs. Seaberg proposes to rezone the eastern portion of the lot <br />from R-1 to R-2, rem:>ve the existing house and construct a double bunga1<M. Mr. Dahlgren <br />indicated that no division of lot is proposed at this tine, but that Mrs. Seaberg could <br />apply for a division in the future. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Matson, represented the applicant, and indica.ted that Mrs. Seaberg had received <br />no negative reaction to the profX)sed rezoning as she had gone around to contact the <br />neighbors. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. John Schiller, 3104 Fairview, indicated that he had talked to Mrs. Seaberg and that <br />he is not opposed to t~e rezoning. <br /> <br />Fecormendation <br /> <br />Mr 0 Rukavina !rOved and Mr. Sirrons seconded, that the Conmission recormend approval of <br />Joyce Seaberg's request for rezoning from R-1 to R-2 at 3100 l\lorth Fairviet'l.1\.venue. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Sirrons, Cushing, Dressler, Rukavina and Mastel, Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1208 - Rodney Bernu request for special use permit at 1611 West <br />County Road B <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the applicant proposes to construct a t1)ree story brick <br />office building with a total of 37,800 square feet. '!he property is L shaped and <br />located adjacent to the existing lob Pine site. Mr. Dahlgren conmented that the <br />landscaping plan as subrni tted by the applicant contained very little p1antings on <br />the southern portion of the site, and he suggested that additional landscaping be <br />provided in that area. <br />
