<br />Foseville Planning Comrdssion nutes <br />October 3, 1979 <br /> <br />'!he October 3, 1979, regular rreeting of the PDseville Planninc CoIm1ission was called to <br />order by Chairnan Vem Johnson at 7: 35 P.M. <br /> <br />I~rs present: <br />Staff present: <br /> <br />SiIrons, Cushing, Dressler, Rukavina, Mastel, G. Johnson and V. Johnson. <br />Havard Dahlgren, Charles Honchell and Jim Payne <br /> <br />Approval of .Minutes <br /> <br />~1r. Rukavina !roved and ~. Mastel seconded, that the minutes of the regular rreeting of <br />Septenber 5, 1979, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Rukavina, Mastel, Simms, G. Johnson <br />and V. Johnson. Abstentions: CUshing and Dressler, Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1224 - Norman Albrecht request for division of lot at 3069 West <br /><Masso Boulevard <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the applicant owns a parcel of land consisting of portions <br />of previously platted lots with a width of 112.5 feet on West (Masso Boulevard. '!his <br />parcel extends through to Millwood Avenue where there is a 20 foot frontage on the cul de <br />sac at the end of Millwood. Mr. Albrecht proposes to divide the lot at a point 30' back <br />from the frontage on the cul de sac at which point thelot width is approximately 113'. <br />'Ihe square footage of the lot created would be approximately 18,600 square feet, leaving <br />19,400 square feet for the easterly xrost lot which contains the existing house. <br /> <br />Mr. Albrecht indicated that the proposed division is in keeping with the rest of the <br />neighborhood and that the new lot line would be a continuation of other lot lines along <br />West <Masso. <br /> <br />Mr. Honchell indicated that a drainage easement is necesscu:y from the pond at the north- <br />west comer of the property to Millwood Avenue, approximately 20 feet. <br /> <br />Recormendation <br /> <br />Mr. Mastel xroved and Mrs. Cushing seconded, that the Comnission recormend approval of <br />the Noman Albrecht request for division of lot at 3069 West (Masso Boulevard, and that a <br />storm sewer easenent along the westerly lot line from the pond, at the northwest comer <br />of the lot, to Millwood Avenue be provided. Roll Call, Ayes: Rukavina, Cushing, Mastel, <br />Sirrons, Dressler, G. Johnson and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1225 - patricia Lindahl request for special use permit at 323 Grandview <br />for beauty shop in residence <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the City of Roseville recently azrended the uses of the R-l <br />district to include a single operated beauty shop as a special use to the R-l district. 'Ihe applicant proposes to establish such a use in the basement of her hCYCe in an 11' x 13' <br />room. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. George Johnson asked what other egres besides the door to tl1G room would there be. <br /> <br />Mrs. Lindahl e:xplained that there was a large windav in addition it:> the door. <br />
