<br />Roseville Planning Corrmission Minutes <br />Wednesday, January 2, 1980 <br /> <br />'Ihe January 2, 1980, regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Connrl.ssion <br />was called to order by Chainran V. Johnson at 7: 30 P.M. <br /> <br />Menbers present: Sim::ms, Dressler, G. Johnson, Mastel, Rukavina and <br />V. Johnson. <br /> <br />Menbers absent: Cushing <br /> <br />Staff present: Council liaison Al Kehr, Howard Dahlgren, Charles Honchell, <br />David Drown and Steve North <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Mr. Mastel roved and Mr. Rukavina seconded, that the minutes of the regular <br />neeting of Noverrber 7, 1979, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Sim:ms, Dressler, <br />G. Johnson, Mastel, Rukavina and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1236 - Tieso & Stevens request for rezoning from R-l to B-1 <br />at 1840 Iexington <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that this application had been continued from the <br />Novenber neeting to allow the applicants time to prepare a suggested <br />agreenent for restricting the property to office uses within the existing <br />structure. <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren stated that the applicants, since the Noverrber neeting, have <br />requested that the rezoning from R-l to B-1 be reduced to the westerly 104.51 <br />of the lot. 'Ihis would leave 94.5 feet on the east side of the lot remaining <br />as R-l. <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren reviewed the proposed restrictive convenant prepared by the <br />applicant. 'Ihe convenant provides: <br /> <br />1. 'Ihat the westerly 140.5 feet of the property shall be used for <br />btilliness offices and professional offices only. <br /> <br />2. 'Ihat the balance of the property, that is, the easterly 94.5 feet <br />shall remain as a buffer bebveen the business and professional <br />office of the property fronting on Iexington Avenue and the single <br />family residences to the east on Ruggles Street. <br /> <br />3. '!hat the owners of the property and their successors in interest, <br />shall cause the property to be sui tabl y planted and maintained with <br />grass, trees and decorative shrubs, excepting however, that part of <br />the area thereof as shall be constructed as and used for building, <br />dri vf!Nay and parking space. <br /> <br />4. 'Ihese restrictions shall operate as convenants running with the land <br />for the benefit of any and all persons who nay own or hereafter <br />acquire the property and for the adjacent single family residences <br />to the east on Ruggles Street, and for the City of Roseville; and the <br />
