<br />Roseville Planning Conrnission Minutes <br />Wednesday, February 6, 1980 <br /> <br />The February 6, 1980, regular neeting of the Roseville Planning Corrrnission <br />was called to order by Chairman V. ,Johnson at 7 :30 p.M. <br /> <br />Mer:ibers present ~ Cushing, Dressler, r,. Johnson. <br /> <br />M2rnbers absent: None <br /> <br />Staff present: Council liaison Al Kehr, Howard Dahlgren, David Drown and <br />Steve North <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina IIDVed and Mr. SiIIDns seconded, that the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of January 2, 1980, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Dressler, G. <br />Johnson, Mastel, Rukavina, SiIIDns and V. Johnson. Nays: None. Abstention: <br />Cushing. <br /> <br />Planning File 1241 - Barry 0' M:ara request for division of lot at <br />1830 and 1832 County Road D <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the applicant is constructing a duplex on the <br />property and requests that the lot be divided to create a separate lot for <br />each unit of the duplex. He indicated that the westerly lot would have approxi- <br />mately 59 feet of frontage on County Road D and the easterly lot approximately <br />60 feet. <br /> <br />Recormendation <br /> <br />Mr. Mastel IIDVed and Mr. Rukavina seconded, that the Comnission reconmend <br />approval of Barry O'Meara's request for division of lot at 1830 and 1832 <br />County Road D. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushing, Dressler, G. Johnson, Mastel, Rukavina, <br />Simons and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1242 - 01' Mexico, Inc. request for special use permit at <br />1754 North Iexington Avenue <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the property is presently zoned B-2 which permits <br />the restaurant as a permitted use. However, a special use permit is required <br />for restaurants where live entertainment is provided. He stated the applicant <br />proposes to have live music in the lounge area, but that there would be no dancing <br />permitted . <br /> <br />Mr. Wayne Belisle, part owner of 01' Mexico, indicated it was their intention to <br />have a piano with quiet entertai.rnrent in the lounge for people who are waiting <br />for dinner. He indicated they are not proposing to have any loud entertainment <br />or become an entertai.nnent center. <br />
