<br />-2- <br /> <br />Proposed Revisions to Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />Bob Ryan of Howard Dahlgren Associates reviewed the proposed revisions to <br />Parts I and II of the Comprehensive Plan. He indicated that the revisions <br />are based primarily upon the preliminary review with the Metropolitan Council. <br />He stated that a number of changes have also been made to incorporate more <br />recent data which has become available since the plan was prepared. <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina indicated that the City staff and Planning staff deserve a lot <br />of appreciation for the fine job that was done in preparing the Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina moved and Mrs. Cushing seconded, that the Commission adopt the <br />revisions to Parts I and II of the Comprehensive Plan as prepared by Howard <br />Dahlgren Associates dated May 28, 1980. Roll Call, Ayes: Rukavina, Cushing, <br />Dressler and G. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Zoning Ordinance Amendments <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the City has one year from the time of final <br />adoption by the City Council of the Comprehensive Plan, to prepare the <br />implementation ordinances relating to the Comprehensive Plan. He stated <br />that he would like to proceed ahead with consideration of the ordinances and <br />hoped that they could be adopted by the end of the year. He distributed a <br />memo to the Commission regarding the proposed changes in the Planned Unit <br />Development procedures of the zoning ordinance and asked them to review it so <br />that it could be considered at the July meeting. Additional proposed ordin- <br />ance amendments will be distributed to the Commission prior to the July meeting. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Mrs. Dressler moved and Mrs. Cushing seconded, that the meeting be adjourned <br />at 8:45 P.M. Roll Call, Ayes: Rukavina, Cushing, Dressler, and G. Johnson. <br />Nays: None. <br />
