She in-
dicated although the moratorium was for six months, that it was the Council's
intent to proceed ahead as quickly as possible. She suggested the Council
have another joint meeting with the Planning Commission at the Commission's
next regular meeting of January 6. At that time, a proposed zoning district
ordinance could be considered; and hopefully, the Commission could make a
recommendation to forward to the City Council. She also suggested the Council
and Commission have a bus tour which would include examples of land uses in
the metropolitan area which might be considered in the new zoning district.

Mr. Dahlgren gave a slide presentation which included aerial photos and
ground level photos of the various properties included in the moratorium
area.

The bus tour will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 12th, from the
City Hall, and will last approximately two hours.

Mrs. Dressler Moved, and Mrs. Cushing Seconded, that the proposed ordinance
establishing a new business zoning district be continued until the January
6, 1982 Planning Commission meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, Moeller,
Cushing, Dressler, and Johnson. Nays: None.

Adjournment

Mr. Matson Moved, and Mrs. Cushing Seconded, that the meeting be adjourned
at 9:10 p.m. Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, Moeller, Cushing, Dressler, and
Johnson.
