Roseville Planning Commission Minutes Wednesday, March 3, 1982 The March 3, 1982 regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission was called to order by Chairman Johnson at 7:30 p.m. Members present: Moeller, Dressler, Mastel, Matson, Rukavina, and Johnson. Cushing arrived at 7:40 p.m. Members absent: None. Staff present: Council liaison Al Kehr, Howard Dahlgren, David Drown, and Steve North. Approval of Minutes Mr. Rukavina moved and Mrs. Dressler seconded that the minutes of the regular meeting of February 3, 1982 be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Moeller, Dressler, Matson, Rukavina, and Johnson. Nays: None. Abstain: Mastel. Planning File 1361 - Hoffman Electric Company request for special use permit and variances to side yard setback and sidewalk require- ment at 2251 through 2295 TH 36. Presentation Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the Hoffman Electric Company has purchased five residential lots north of TH 36 frontage road and east of Fulham Street. The initial purchase of five lots did not include a single-family home on the northwest corner of the proposed development because the owner did not desire to sell. The City staff has encouraged the Hoffman firm during these past months to continue to try to acquire the property. This past week, Mr. Hoffman advised us that they had done so. The development, therefore, consists of six lots, or 5.24 acres. Because the purchase of the last lot was not concluded until after the notice of hearing was required to be mailed, it is necessary for Hoffman to apply for the special use permit and variances for that site, which will be considered at the next Planning Commission meeting. Mr. Dahlgren reviewed the landscape plan and noted the fact that the proposal included the retention of several existing trees.
