<br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />-4- <br /> <br />Mr. Mastel asked if it would be wiser to allow a variance for parking closer <br />to Sandhurst, rather than placing the building to within 10' of the north <br />property line. Mr. Dahlgren indicated that keeping the building to the north <br />would preserve the residential character of the street. Mr. North commented <br />that if the parking lot were moved to the south, it would require a variance <br />which has not been advertised, and would therefore, need a separate hearing. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Rukavina Moved and Cushing Seconded that the Commission recommend approval <br />of Dean Westerlund's request for variance to building, parking lot, and sign <br />setback at 2201 Lexington, with the condition that the development, including <br />landscaping, be constructed as shown on plans dated 7/9/82. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Cushing, Moeller, Rukavina, Dressler, Mastel, Matson, and Johnson.
