Planning commission Minutes October 5, 1983 -6- Planning File 1463 - victor Trombley request for rezoning at 1260 County Road B. Presentation Mr. Dahlgren indicated the applicant proposes to rezone the land from R-l to R-2 and construct an additional housing unit contiguous to the east side of the existing house. The existing house is placed on the westerly half of the property. It has been the City's policy to consider duplexes anywhere in the City if conditions such as an overly large lot, adequacy of land area for development, and compatibility with the neighborhood exist. These conditions exist for this proposal. Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the dedication of an additional 10 feet of right-of-way is required to give County Road B its planned right-of-way width of 86 feet. Recommendation Matson Moved and Berry Seconded that the Planning Commission recommend approval of the change from R-l to R-2 with the condition that an additional 10 feet of right-of-way be dedicated on the southerly portion of County Road B. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Johnson, Matson, Moeller, Berry, Dressler and Rukavina. Planning File 1436 - Study of Housing Alternatives in the R-l zoning district. Rukavina dirested staff to examine methods for making the City's R-2 process more well-known as a solution to housing problems. Recommendation Matson Moved and Moeller Seconded that the Planning Commission continue its review of housing alternatives in the R-l zoning district to the next regular Commission meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Johnson, Matson, Moeller, Berry, Dressler, and Rukavina. Nays: None. Planning File 1457 - Review of the 1984-88 Capital Improvement Program. Recommendation Matson Moved and Johnson Seconded that the Planning Commission continue the review of the 1984-1988 Capital Improvement Program to the next regular meeting of the Commission. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Johnson, Matson, Moeller, Berry, Dressler, and Rukavina. Nays: None. Adjournment Johnson Hoved and Roll Call, Ayes: Nays: None.
