<br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />October 5, 1983 <br />-5- <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Matson Moved and Berry Seconded that the Planning Commission recommend <br />approval of the division of lot with the condition that the applicant <br />dedicate an additional 30 feet of right-of-way on Burke. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Wiski, Johnson, Matson, Moeller, Berry, Dressler, and Rukavina. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1461 - Robert McGarry request for division of lot at 2057 victoria. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated the applicant proposes to divide the existing lot to <br />create two single-family lots. The existing house on the southerly proposed <br />lot, and its garage, meet the setback requirements. Mr. Dahlgren indicated <br />a dedication of an additional 10 feet of right-of-way on the westerly side <br />of Victoria is called for here as part of our agreement with Ramsey County <br />to obtain additional right-of-way for future widening of County roads. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Matson Moved and Johnson Seconded that the Planning Commission recommend <br />approval of the division of lot with the condition that an additional 10 <br />feet of right-of-way be dedicated on the westerly side of victoria. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Johnson, Matson, Moeller, Berry, Dressler, and <br />Rukavina. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1462 - ZLZ Company request for special use permit at 1909 <br />Highway 36. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated the property in question is zoned B-l-b, and has <br />been developed for retail sales use. The applicant proposes to add a <br />2,000 sq. ft. addition, measuring 40 feet by 50 feet, to the front <br />(south end) of the structure. The plan meets all ordinance requirements. <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated there may be some concern with the building projecting <br />another 40 feet to the south. The applicants have informed staff that the <br />owners of the property on either side do not object to the proposal. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Matson Moved and Johnson Seconded that the Planning Commission recommend <br />approval of the special use permit for site plan approval in the B-l-b <br />district, with the condition that the addition be constructed in accordance <br />with plans dated 9/6/83. Roll Call, Ayes: Wiski, Johnson, Matson, Moeller, <br />Berry, Dressler, and Rukavina. Nays: None. <br />
