<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 4, 1984 <br /> <br />The January 4, 1984 meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission was called <br />to order by Chairman Rukavina at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Members Present: Johnson, Berry, Dressler, Matson, Moeller, and Rukavina. <br /> <br />Members Absent: wiski. <br /> <br />Staff Present: Council liaison Al Kehr, Howard Dahlgren, David Drown, and <br />Ron Moorse. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Matson Moved and Dressler Seconded that the minutes of the regular meeting <br />of December 7, 1983, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Berry, Dressler, Matson, <br />Moeller, and Rukavina. Nays: None. Abstain: Johnson, because she was <br />absent from the December 7th meeting. <br /> <br />PLANNING FILE 1480 - American Redevelopers, Inc. request for rezoning and <br />variance to setback at 1665 County Road B-2. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren explained that the applicant proposes to rezone the westerly <br />65 feet of the easterly 165 feet of the property from R-l to Shopping Center, <br />and to place a building up to the rezoning line, rather than setback 100 feet from <br />the rezoning line. The building will be placed 100 feet west of Fry Street, <br />with the easterly 100 feet of the site remaining in the R-l district. The <br />proposed development consists of a 3-story multi-use structure with a 2-level <br />parking ramp. <br /> <br />Mr. Dick Dreher and Paul pink presented drawings and information explaining <br />the development project. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Matson asked the applicants what the height of the building will be when <br />viewed from the east and north. <br /> <br />Mr. pink indicated the view from either direction would be of a 2-story building. <br /> <br />In response to a resident's inquiry concerning an environmental impact statement, <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated an EIS is not required, but the City Council may choose <br />to have one performed. <br />
