<br />Roseville Planning Commission Meeting <br /> <br />Wednesday, August 1, 1984 <br /> <br />The August 1, 1984 regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission <br />was called to order by Chairman Don Wiski at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Members Present: Johnson, Dressler, Moeller, Berry, DeBenedet, and Wiski. <br /> <br />Members Absent: Matson <br /> <br />Staff Present: Council Liaison, Al Kehr, Howard Dahlgren, David Drown, <br />and Ron Moorse. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Dressler moved and Moeller seconded that the minutes of the regular meeting <br />of July 11, 1984 be approved with two amendments: <br /> <br />1. Inclusion of Wiski's suggestion that the agenda for the next meeting <br />include a discussion of how to handle a situation where the applicant <br />is not present at the Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />2. Inclusion of Wiski's commendation of City staff for the preparation of <br />the planning reports and accompanying maps. <br /> <br />Roll call, Ayes: Johnson, Dressler, Moeller , Berry, DeBenedet, and Wiski. <br />Nays: none. <br /> <br />Planning File 1522 - T.G.I. Friday's request for rezoning and special use <br />permit at 2655 Snelling Frontage Road East. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Bob Kueppers of Fine Associates, owners of the subject property, indicated <br />that T.G.I. Friday's has requested the Planning Commission delay action on <br />their request. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Berry moved and Johnson seconded that the Planning Commission continue T.G.I. <br />Friday's request for rezoning and special use permit at 2655 Snelling Frontage <br />Road East to the September 5, 1984 regular Planning Commission meeting. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: .Johnson, Dressler, Moeller, Berry, DeBenedet, and Wiski. Nays: none. <br /> <br />Planning File 1523 - Chop Stick, Inc. request for special use permit at <br />1744 Lexington. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated the applicant proposes to provide live entertainment <br />and dancing in the basement banquet room of the Chop Stick Inn. <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated the addition of the dancing and entertainment should <br />not have a deleterious effect on the site or the residents of the area. <br /> <br />The applicant was not present for the hearing. <br />
