Mr. Smith indicated it would be too costly to add curb to <br />the existing area. Mr. Smith indicated there were no plans to add lights or <br />refrigeration to the existing facility. The neighbors expressed concern in regard <br />to the drainage at the eastern edge of the site. The applicant indicated all <br />drainage at the rear of the site is to the south. Johnson indicated she would like <br />to see more landscaping on the site. Matson indicated that since this is not a large <br />addition, and since there is open space to the south, he did not think that additional <br />landscaping should be required. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Matson moved, and Dressler seconded that the Planning COJJlffiission recoJJlffiend approval <br />of Walter Kohler's request for variance to parking lot requirements at 3070 Lexington, <br />wi th the following conditions: <br /> <br />1) That directional signs be provided at the driveways for one-way in and one-way <br />out, <br /> <br />2) That the drainage and grading plans be approved by City staff. <br /> <br />3) That the project be developed in accordance with plans dated 9/27/84. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Berry, DeBenedet, Dressler, Johnson, ~Iatson, Moeller and Wiski. <br /> <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Matson reminded the Commission members that the annual Planning Institute is being <br />held on November 30.
