<br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Mr. Cliff Lund, representing Roberts Property, owner of the property, <br />indicated Suburban Auto Body would be moving from their leased space at <br />the end of April, and the illegal sign would be removed. <br /> <br />Mr. Burwell stated the lighting will be designed so it is shielded and <br />does not shine toward the residential area on the east side of Fairview. <br />He indicated the compressors for the coolers would be on the roof. <br /> <br />Mr. Lund indicated the coolers would make no more noise than an air <br />conditioning unit. <br /> <br />Mr. Burwell stated the liquor store would be an asset to the commercial <br />and residential areas in this part of the City. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Berry moved, Johnson seconded that the Commission recommend approval of <br />Fairview Development Company, Inc. application for rezoning from I-I to <br />B-3 at 2577 Fairview Avenue. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Moeller, Berry, DeBenedet, Dressler, Johnson and <br />Wiski. <br /> <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Moeller moved, Johnson seconded that the Commission recommend approval <br />of Fairview Development Company, Inc. application for special use permit <br />for off-sale liquor store at 2577 Fairview Avenue, with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1) That all outdoor lighting be shielded from the residential area on <br />the east side of Fairview Avenue. <br /> <br />2) That only one pylon sign be permitted on the property. <br /> <br />3) That the handicapped access meet all code requirements. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Moeller, Berry, DeBenedet, Johnson and Wiski. <br /> <br />Nays: Dressler. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved, Moeller seconded that the meeting be adjourned at 7:55 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Moeller, Berry, DeBenedet, Dressler, Johnson and <br />Wiski. <br /> <br />Nays: None. <br />
