<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />Wednesday, January 8, 1986 <br /> <br />The January 8, 1986 regular meeting of the Roseville Planning <br />Commission was called to order by Chairman Don Wiski at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Members Present: Berry, DeBenedet, Dressler, Johnson, and <br />Wiski. <br /> <br />Members Absent: Moeller. <br /> <br />Staff Present: Dahlgren, Honchell, and Waldron. <br /> <br />Ex Officio Member: Mayor Demos. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Berry moved, DeBenedet seconded, that the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of December 4, 1985 be approved. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Dressler, Berry, DeBenedet, Johnson and Wiski. <br />None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1641 <br />John and Carol Hoffman's request for division of existing platted <br />lot at 2228 North Rosewood Lane. <br /> <br />Presentation <br />Mr. Dahlgren depicted the location of the proposed lot split on <br />the City-wide and the Section maps. He also discussed the <br />average lot size in the area, and the fact that this proposed lot <br />would be much smaller than the other lots in the neighborhood. <br />Mr. Dahlgren also stated he suggested that the Hoffman's consider <br />buying additional land to the west; however, the neighbor was not <br />agreeable to selling ten feet of his eastern property. <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren pointed out that a previous drainage problem in the <br />area has been resolved. <br /> <br />John Hoffman, the applicant, stated there was a tentative <br />agreement to purchase the additional ten feet, but the agreement <br />never materialized. Mr. Hoffman pointed out that he did contact <br />the neighbors, and they were quite supportive of the project. <br /> <br />Carol Hoffman discussed the meetings she had with the neighbors. <br />She pointed out that there were some questions regarding the <br />width, but they were still quite supportive of the proposal. <br /> <br />Berry stated that she had some questions as to how the neighbors <br />felt about the 75 foot width of the lot, however her questions <br />were answered as a result of the Hoffman's statements. <br />
