Dunwell <br />responded that they would prefer to maintain those spaces. Berry <br />indicated that she shared Janisch's concern, that the cars <br />backing up into the driving aisle may be working, but that it <br />only takes one accident to make the change worthwhile. Dunwell <br />responded that there are not masses of people using that parking <br />area, and it is not a problem. <br /> <br />Gerald Bilski, 1950 Gluek Lane, inquired about how tall the berm <br />would be along County Road B. Dunwell responded 2 1/2 to 3 feet. <br />Bilski commented that they are very appreciative of trees in the <br />area, and it is important to provide landscaping and buffering <br />along County Road B. Bilski commented about hO'Vl the impact of <br />the Fairview Community Center in their neighborhood is greater <br />than the impact of the post office discussed in the previous <br />item. Bilsk i complemented the appl icant for coming ou t to the <br />neighborhood and addressing their problems. Bilski commented on <br />the drainage problem that they do have in the area and the water <br />does come out of the catch basins during heavy rains. <br /> <br />Johnson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved, Berry seconded that the Planning Commission <br />recommend approval of the special use permit at 1910 W. County <br />Road B for the expansion of the parking area by 114 spaces with <br />the following stipulations: <br /> <br />1. Construction be accomplished as outlined in the plans <br />submitted dated February 3, 1988. <br /> <br />2. Engineering Staff review. <br /> <br />3. Additional landscaping and curbing. <br /> <br />4.
