Presentation Dahlgren summarized the location and the plan to use existing warehouse space for gymnastic classes. Bierscheid pointed out that the school board won't renew their lease for use of facilities at parkview School and that this space is the only space available to meet their needs. Johnson indicated concerns about sufficient parking being available on the site. Bierscheid responded that there was no space for observation by parents, and that except for some pre- school parents, most kids would be just be dropped off. Bierschied indicated that the city might stripe the parking lot and that there will be 3 - 8 employees on the site at anyone time. Johnson inquired if any parking areas to the north would be available. Bierschied commented that they would and that they were exploring their use as employee parking. Goedeke commented that as a former gymnastics coach that warehouse space worked good for that use but that he was concerned about mats going right up to the wall. Bierschied replied that it would have reduced mat area and padded walls.
