A representative of Super America indicated the desire to have regulations which allow pump top signage, banners and temporary changeable signs. Berry summarized the history of the city's regulation of these type of temporary signs. Goedeke commented that he felt that the Lexington & County Road B Super America has been a neet appearing store, and he is a customer of that store for that reason. A representative of Super America pointed out that Super America is in the process of updating it's older stores to improve their image. DeBenedet said that he had no problem with small signs on pumps or on displays, but that he had a problem with banners, which distract motorists and which result in safety problems. Johnson informed the commission that people move to Richfield to get away from the inner city south Robert street look, and that a balance is necessary. A representative of Super America agreed with the idea that a balance is important.
