<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Page#10 <br /> <br />Wednesday, September 7, 1988 <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Dahlgren summarized the location and the proposed lot division. <br /> <br />Michaels presented a petition with the names of five people who <br />own outlots in the area and which support his proposal. <br />Michaels stated that he bought the property to pursue the <br />development of Sextant Avenue and intended to sell the house on <br />County Road B-2. <br /> <br />Steve Owen, 601 W. County Road B-2, expressed his opposition to <br />the proposal as well as to the construction of the extension of <br />Sextant Avenue. <br /> <br />Johnson asked if Mr. Owen was aware of the petition that Michaels <br />had submitted. Owen responded that he was not aware. Michaels <br />stated that Mr. Owen was not contacted because there would be no <br />monetary impact on him for the construction of the extension of <br />Sextant Avenue. <br /> <br />Johnson pointed out that the effect on Mr. Owen <br />addi tional houses behind him. Owen indicated he was <br />that and he opposes this application. <br /> <br />would <br />aware <br /> <br />be <br />of <br /> <br />Richard McGill, 574 Transit Avenue, indicated he was in favor of <br />the proposal. <br /> <br />Mr. Moser, 2424 N. Dale Street, stated he was in favor of the <br />proposal. <br /> <br />Johnson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved and Berry seconded to recommend approval of the <br />proposed lot division with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the outlot be identified as not buildable without <br />public street frontage and access. <br /> <br />2. That the temporary 10 foot easement be included across <br />parcel B to allow access to outlot A for maintenance. <br /> <br />Stokes questioned whether the Planning Commission had the right <br />to require the easement. Dahlgren responded that Michaels has <br />proposed the easement, and that the commission is recognizing and <br />accepting the easement proposal. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />DeBenedet, Berry, Goedke, <br />Maschka, Moeller, Johnson <br /> <br />Stokes, <br />
