Keel replied that he was not sure. stokes stated that the sewer line served this particular property and without the easement, the city could not fix it if there was a problem. Berry asked if the easement was a problem because this was the first time the applicant has heard about it. Johnson replied, yes. Keel testified that the staff had just discovered the problem because we were reviewing as builts which were kept by engineering consultants and not in the City files. Moeller inquired if the Commission should table this matter. Berry replied that the commission could recommend approval with the condition that the easement be provided and that the applicant could review it and withdraw the request if it was a problem. Johnson closed the public hearing. DeBenedet moved, Goedeke seconded to recommend approval of the lot division with the condition that a 20 foot sanitary sewer easement be provided along the east edge of parcel B as required by staff.
