<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Page' 3 <br /> <br />Wednesday, August 2, 1989 <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Wietecki, <br />Johnson <br /> <br />Berry, <br /> <br />stokes, Maschka, <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />wietecki thanked the applicant for his effort in revising the <br />proposal. <br /> <br />Planning File 1990 <br /> <br />Ashland oil request for parking setback and number of parking <br />stall variances at 1925 Lexington Avenue. <br /> <br />Jopke stated that no new information has been received from the <br />applicant and it would be appropriate for the Planning Commission <br />to continue this matter for an additional month. <br /> <br />stokes moved and Maschka seconded to continue this matter to the <br />September 6, 1989 Planning commission meeting. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Wietecki, <br />Johnson <br /> <br />Berry, <br /> <br />Stokes, Maschka, <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Planninq File 2000 <br /> <br />Gateway Development Company/Rainbow Foods request for special use <br />permit for site plan approval at 1201 Larpenteur Avenue. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Dahlgren summarized the location and the proposed improvements. <br /> <br />Keel summarized Engineering concerns including grades and <br />drainage. <br /> <br />Jack Amdahl from KKE Architects, summarized the proposal <br />including landscaping, loading dock improvements, relocation of <br />trash compactors, vestibule additions, and changes to exterior <br />building materials and colors. <br /> <br />Johnson questioned the signage, including the design of the pylon <br />for the movie theatre. Amdahl stated that the pylon sign would <br />be renovated and all the signage would be within the 200 sq. foot <br />sign for all the tenants. <br />
