ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION

page:#15

Wednesday, April 4, 1990

Berry stated that the city of Roseville made a promise to these
citizens to protect them.

Dunn questioned if the ramp design should remain open on the
first floor which was a suggestion by the Chief of Police.

Dunn addressed the ramp issues for the Planning Commission.

Dunn reviewed the proposed fence size and position.

Weitecki questioned if the fence will be located on the north or
south side of the berm. Dunn stated that the fence would be
located on the north side of the berm.

Berry suggested that they relocate the fence further south on the
other side of the berm, closer to the parking area.

Dunn, once again, reviewed the sight lines for the Planning
commission.

Goedeke questioned what building materials are planned for the
fence. Dunn replied that the fence would be a solid wood fence.

Lindgren questioned how deep the posts for the fence go into the
ground. Dunn replied that the posts go 4 feet into the ground.
Lindgren suggested that the fence be put on top of the berm
because the posts would not cause a problem to the pipes.

Dunn replied that they would be glad to locate the fence here but
the pipeline company has objected.

Many residents of the adjacent neighborhood were present to
express their concerns about the construction of the fence, the
materials used in the construction of the ramp, and what security
measures are planned for the ramp.

Dunn stated that they have submitted a security plan to the Chief
of Police. Police will monitor the ramp periodically.

The residents of the surrounding area expressed their concerns
about the metal screen used on the ramp and if the back wall of
the lower level is still planned to be left open.

Dunn reviewed the screening materials planned for the parking
ramp.

Wietecki questioned what the problems are with deliveries to
Rainbow.
