ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION Wednesday October 3, 1990 Page 10 Presentation Shardlow presented the request. Shardlow stated that the Roseville Community Bank wanted to locate an ATM on the southwest island of the parking lot. Since this was an addition to an already approved PUD, an amendment needed to be approved. Shardlow stated that staff had some concerns of the proposed site for the ATM due to traffic circulation problems. Shardlow presented alternative plans to accommodate the traffic circulation. Roberts questioned whether staff was concerned that locating the ATM at the southwest island would be a dangerous situation. Shardlow responded that it would not be a dangerous situation, the plan changes circulation, but its not a big problem. Willmus, owner of the bank, stated that the ATM is wanted at that island because of it's location, affords greater security than if it was located at the building itself. Goedeke questioned why the ATM couldn't be moved closer to the building. Willmus stated that the more visible an ATM is, the more comfortable people feel using it. Johnson questioned the landscaping plan. Willmus responded that it would not change from approved landscaping plan. Berry questioned whether bank would consider making changes if proposed ATM caused traffic problems. Willmus stated that there probably won't be a problem but if there was it would be in their best interest to remedy it, since it will be the bank which is ultimately affected by any problems with ATM. The Public Hearing was closed. MOTION Goedeke moved and Berry seconded to recommend approval of the plan amendment as presented 10/3/90 with signs and arrows as shown.
