<br />10 <br /> <br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Wednesday, December 5, 1990 <br /> <br />Berry expressed an opinion that she was extremely exasperated at <br />contractors working in the City without permits. <br /> <br />Planninq File 2188 <br /> <br />B-Dale Amoco's request for a special use permit for outside <br />display and merchandising at 2164 North Dale street. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow presented the proposal and ordinance requirements. <br /> <br />Ted Brausen stated that the station would be open for 24 hours, <br />pointed out the handicapped ramp location, and indicated that the <br />display heights would be 3 and 5 feet. <br /> <br />DeBenedet pointed out that the tire racks appeared to be higher <br />that 5 feet. <br /> <br />Brausen indicated that the height of the racks could be reduced. <br /> <br />Goedeke testified that the tire racks make the station look <br />somewhat messy and hoped that he would not clutter it up. <br />Goedeke questioned whether the tire racks would be on the island. <br />Brausen replied that they could be off the island. <br /> <br />DeBenedet questioned where they would be put if they were not on <br />the island. Brausen that there was no location other than the <br />islands for them. <br /> <br />DeBenedet said that the tire racks would have to be where they <br />are shown on the approved plan. <br /> <br />Brausen stated that they would be where they are shown on the <br />plan and that the height of the tire racks should be raised to <br />6.5 feet. <br /> <br />Goedeke stated a concern that, during tire sales, tires would be <br />allover the site. Brausen replied that the tires would be <br />stored inside and that he takes pride in the appearance of the <br />location. <br /> <br />Roberts questioned whether there would be products other than <br />those listed displayed outside. Brausen answered that there <br />would be no other products. <br /> <br />Johnson closed the public hearing. <br />
