<br />14 <br /> <br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Wednesday, December 5, 1990 <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Berry moved and DeBenedet seconded to approve the resolution as <br />read by Chairperson Johnson. <br /> <br />Stokes questioned how the Commission could make such a finding <br />when there are conflicts such as Acorn Park. <br /> <br />Burrell stated that there is not a conflict because it would <br />still be a Park use. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />DeBenedet, Berry, Goedeke, Stokes, <br />Roberts, Johnson <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Johnson pointed out that this review was not the same as the <br />Commission is used to. Johnson added that 99% of the CIP is not <br />applicable. <br /> <br />stokes indicated his concern about the intent. <br /> <br />DeBenedet stated that it is difficult <br />understand their role because it seems <br />something there and there really isn't. <br /> <br />for the Commission to <br />I ike there should be <br /> <br />Burrell stated that in future CIP's, staff could better highlight <br />areas of conflict and relate more specifically to the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Shardlow pointed out that in other cities they more specifically <br />relate cIP Projects to areas and policies in the Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br /> <br />Procedures <br /> <br />Shardlow reviewed a revision of the procedures for reviewing <br />zoning related matters and presented a generic schedule on how it <br />would work. He pointed out that the revisions would eliminate <br />the Council referral step and would require the regular Planning <br />Commission meeting to be moved from the first Wednesday of the <br />month to the second Wednesday of the month. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Berry moved and Goedeke seconded to recommend that the Council <br />adopt the proposed amendments to the procedures for reviewing <br />zoning related matters. <br />
