<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Wednesday February 13, 1991 <br /> <br />Page 13 <br /> <br />Shardlow said that it could. <br /> <br />Gay explained the difficulty with the 30 foot setback and the <br />need for the sign. Gay pointed out that the 5 foot base was <br />necessary because of an adjacent electrical box. <br /> <br />Shard10w clarified that no action would be necessary if the sign <br />was redesigned to meet the definition of a ground sign. <br /> <br />Gay indicated that he would withdraw his application and redesign <br />the sign to meet the ground sign definition. <br /> <br />Planninq File 2198 <br /> <br />Arthur Mueller request for vacation of a portion of a drainage <br />easement at 2221 and 2223 Ferris Lane. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow summarized the proposed vacation. <br /> <br />Roberts questioned why the easement was needed. Shardlow <br />responded that originally it was an area for storm water <br />drainage. Shardlow pointed out that an asbuil t survey showed <br />encroachment of structures into the easement area. Shardlow <br />added that the easement was needed but the proposed vacation <br />would not cause a problem. <br /> <br />Goedeke questioned if the catch basin was large enough. <br />stated that it was. <br /> <br />Keel <br /> <br />Johnson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Wietecki moved and Roberts seconded to recommend approval of <br />Arthur Mueller's request for a vacation of a portion of a <br />drainage easement at 2221 and 2223 Ferris Lane. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Wietecki, Roberts, Berry, Goedeke, <br />Stokes, Johnson <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Planninq File 2199 <br /> <br />North Heights Hardware request for <br />rezoning, division of platted lot, <br />setback at 2595 and 2611 Rice Street. <br /> <br />comprehensive plan change, <br />and variances to sideyard <br /> <br />Presentation <br />
