Roll Call: Ayes: Wietecki, Roberts, DeBenedet, Johnson Berry, Nayes: None Roberts stated that the minutes should show that the Planning Commission strongly recommends that the City Council work with Tanurb and the neighbors to resol ve the buffer area issue as quickly as possible. MOTION DeBenedet moved and Berry seconded to strongly recommend that the ci ty Council work with Tanurb and the neighbors to resolve the buffer area screening issue as quickly as possible. Berry suggested that the motion also include that the City Council review its enforcement capabilities to make every effort to resolve quickly noise and other neighborhood complaints. Johnson suggested that the Planning Commission also recommend that the City Council study the proper amount of enforcement staff to enforce its ordinances allover the community. Roberts stated that it was not appropriate for the Planning Commission to recommend staffing levels. Johnson replied that the recommendation would not be for a specific staffing level but to have the Council review its staff levels in order to provide proper enforcement in the community. The final motion was that the Planning commission strongly recommends that the Council work with Tanurb and the neighbors to resolve the buffer area screening issue as quickly as possible and that the Council review its staffing needs to promptly enforce the City code City wide.
