Shardlow replied <br />that it was for a PUD. <br /> <br />Robert Slater, owner of the marina, pointed out to the Commission <br />that they were under the impression that they could operate as <br />usual while the City was reviewing ordinance amendments. Slater <br />indicated that they had been doing that and have not been trying <br />to dodge ordinance requirements. Slater stated that the north lot <br />was purchased in 1982 or 1983 and had been vacant for a number <br />of years. Slater stated that the north lot was being used in its <br />present form when they bought the property. <br /> <br />Johnson asked when they purchased the property. <br /> <br />Slater replied that they leased the property in 1987 and <br />purchased it in 1988. <br /> <br />DeBenedet questioned whether the applicants had discussed <br />potential improvements within 20 feet of the lake with the <br />Department of Natural Resources. Slater answered that they had <br />received advice from Windsor Nursery and the conservatory <br />concerning erosion control of the bank. Slater pointed out that <br /> <br />. <br />
