That a maximum number of trucks to be located on the site at <br />anyone time be established. <br /> <br />2. That the applicant shall commit to keeping the weeds cut on <br />the site, litter picked up, and storage should be limited to <br />designated areas. <br /> <br />3. That outside storage of scrap steel must be limited and <br />screened and at a location to the south side of the <br />building. <br /> <br />4. That the building be inspected before occupancy and that any <br />code violations that would pose a serious threat to <br />occupants, should be corrected. <br /> <br />5. That the building be painted. <br /> <br />6. That trash handling should either occur within the building <br />or it should be screened. <br /> <br />7. That an appropriate performance bond be provided to insure <br />proper maintenance of the site. <br /> <br />8. That the interim use permit expire on April 30, 1993. <br /> <br />DeBenedet suggested that the motion be amended to establish the <br />maximum number of trucks on the site at anyone time at 12, that <br />the hours of operation be limited to 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, <br />six days per week, and that the business be operated in <br />accordance with the applicants letter submitted with the <br />application. <br /> <br />The maker and seconder accepted the amendments. <br /> <br />stokes urged the Commissioners to vote against the proposal <br />because there are people looking at the site for permanent use <br />and because the owner may not aggressively market the site if he <br />is getting a reasonable return from a renter. <br /> <br />Johnson stated she was against the use because the Ci ty had <br />worked long and hard to study the area and establish the site as <br />the gateway to the area to the south. <br /> <br />Wietecki disagreed with the gateway concept because the type of <br />high intensity development conceived for the site could not occur <br />because of the restrictions on this site by the power line. <br />wietecki added that the power line could not be moved because of <br />
