<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Paget 18 <br /> <br />April 10, 1991 <br /> <br />variance process to require Planning commission and city Council <br />review. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />stokes, Goedeke, Roberts, Wietecki, <br />Harms, Thomas, DeBenedet <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />outside Storage provisions <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow pointed out that the provisions requiring special use <br />permits for outside storage in business districts was <br />inadvertently deleted when the design standards were adopted. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />stokes moved and Roberts seconded to reinstate language in <br />section 8.190 to require special use permits for outside storage <br />in business districts. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Stokes, Goedeke, Roberts, Wietecki, <br />Harms, Thomas, DeBenedet <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Discussion Relatina to Automobile Rental Agencies <br /> <br />Jopke stated that staff has discovered a number of automobile <br />rental agencies operating illegally within the City and that a <br />landlord has requested that the City review its ordinances and <br />expand the areas where automobile rental agencies would be <br />allowed by special use permit. Jopke asked the Commission if <br />they were interested in having staff research this issue and <br />bring recommendations back to the Commission. <br /> <br />wietecki stated that he was not in favor of expanding areas where <br />automobile rental agencies should be. <br /> <br />Commissioner Stokes and Goedeke agreed. <br /> <br />DeBenedet questioned. what other districts should be considered <br />and stated a desire to have staff research the matter further. <br /> <br />Stokes stated that it may be interesting to hear from operators <br />and their hardships. <br /> <br />Harms stated that it would also be interesting to hear from other <br />
