Highway 36. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Harms, Thomas, <br />DeBenedet <br /> <br />stokes, <br /> <br />Goedeke, <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />p1anninq File 2355 <br /> <br />Duffy Development request for a Planned Unit Development (PUD) plan <br />amendment to reduce number of townhouse units from 58 to 49 at 2231 <br />Rice street. <br /> <br />Commissioner Harms stated that she had a potential conflict of <br />interest and did not participate in the discussion. <br /> <br />presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow highlighted the proposed plan changes including the <br />reduction in the number of dwelling units, change to all 3 bedroom <br />uni ts, increased amount and change in location of play areas, <br />decreased density, and increased parking ratio. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Issues discussed included parking location, landscaping, <br />Engineering concerns, architectural changes, fire exiting, exterior <br />material, color, site access, rents, and number of handicap units. <br /> <br />No citizens appeared. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Goedeke moved and Thomas seconded a motion to recommend approval of <br />Duffy Development request for a Planned Unit Development (PUD) plan <br />amendment to reduce number of townhouse units from 58 to 49 at 2231 <br />Rice street with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That a revised parking plan be approved by City staff to <br />reflect the concern about the balance of parking spaces for <br />Building Number 3 and 5. <br /> <br />2. That the Engineering staff approve the final design of the <br />water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer plans, hydrants and <br />approve the required new easement locations and descriptions. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Thomas, stokes, Goedeke, DeBenedet <br /> <br />Nayes: None <br /> <br />Abstain: Harms <br />
