<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />June 10, 1992 <br /> <br />Paget <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />Planninq File 2046 <br /> <br />Mark Rancone request for variance to the zoning ordinance at 1955 <br />County Road B-2. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow summarized previous approvals, current conditions, and the <br />applicants request to reconsider previous conditions. <br /> <br />Mark Rancone, representing Roseville Properties Inc. discussed the <br />application delay, trash handling on the site and the reasons for <br />their request. Rancone stated that there is a difficult finance <br />market and that they have made a substantial investment into the <br />si te and the communi ty . Rancone indicated they wish to delay <br />improvement of the north exterior until after a decision is made on <br />whether additional parking will be necessary on the north end of <br />the site. Rancone stated they would abide by whatever decision the <br />City makes. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Issues discussed included timing of dumpster changes, whether REI <br />was aware of exterior requirements during lease discussions, length <br />of ownership by Roseville Properties, dead or dying landscaping on <br />the site, access to utilities on north end of site, selective <br />compliance with conditions, the fact that applicant was aware of <br />conditions before REI negotiations occurred, and the need to insure <br />compliance if current request is denied. <br /> <br />No citizens appeared. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Goedeke moved and stokes seconded a motion to recommend denial of <br />Mark Rancone's request for reconsideration of conditions of <br />previous rezoning, special use permit, and variance approval at <br />1955 County Road B-2 and to require that Roseville Properties <br />provide the city with evidence that signed contracts exist to <br />complete the exterior work within two weeks of Council action and <br />work is completed within 90 days of Council action. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Harms, Thomas, <br />DeBenedet <br /> <br />stokes, Goedeke, <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Planninq File 2312 <br /> <br />Altra Auto Rental request for a special use permit to allow the <br />existing auto rental agency to remain at 2353 Rice street. <br /> <br />Presentation <br />
