County Road C. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow highlighted the proposal. <br /> <br />Keel summarized drainage and ponding issues. <br /> <br />Peter Hilger, representing Walgreen's discussed the history of the <br />plan development on the site. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Issues discussed included landscaping, drainage problems in the <br />area, screening, whether a common driveway with North Heights <br />Hardware could be provided, the setback of Walgreen's in relation <br />to North Heights Hardware, the possibility of having a monument <br />sign instead of a pylon sign, fence height, fence location and <br />window location. <br /> <br />Two citizens appeared. <br /> <br />Shelley Kelb, 186 County Road C, stated that the question should be <br />whether or not a Walgreen's should be there and not about the <br />details of the design. Ms. Kelb pointed out that there has been no <br />communication with the neighborhood and stated that Roseville is <br />being torn down and disintegrated. <br /> <br />Rich Moseng, 167 Wewers Road, stated his concern about truck noise <br />in the loading area close to the adjacent house and about the <br />drainage problems in the area. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Thomas moved and Harms seconded a motion to recommend approval of <br />the variance with the condition that Ramsey County agree to ponding <br />
