<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Wednesday, December 9, 1992 <br /> <br />The December 9, 1992 regular meeting of the Roseville Planning <br />Commission was called to order by Chairperson Jim DeBenedet at 7:30 <br />P.M. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Stokes, Goedeke, Harms, Wietecki, DeBenedet <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Roberts, Thomas <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Shardlow, Jopke <br /> <br />Council Present: <br /> <br />Pat Johnson <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Stokes moved and Harms seconded a motion to approve the minutes of <br />the November 10, 1992 Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />stokes, Harms, Wietecki, DeBenedet <br /> <br />Nayes: None <br /> <br />Abstain: Goedeke <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />wietecki moved and Goedeke seconded to change the order of the <br />agenda and consider Parkridge Development first. <br /> <br />Hearinqs <br /> <br />Planninq File 2471 <br /> <br />Parkridge Development Corporation request for planned unit <br />development (PUD) south of County Road C and west of Dale street. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow highlighted required actions, housing policy, public works <br />issues, landscaping concerns, areas requiring additional study and <br />alternative actions the Commission could take. <br /> <br />Bob Pope, architect for the project, summarized the project. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Issues discussed included price, whether basements were included, <br />how the development compares to R-6 zoning district requirements, <br />and the lack of space and proper landscape buffering between the <br />project and the adjacent properties to the east and west. Also <br />discussed were public works issues including location of a drainage <br />pond and other storm water issues, whether streets in project area <br />
