Calvary Baptist Church at 2120 Lexington is expanding and <br />welcomes expansion of the park at Lexington & B. <br /> <br />24. There are other options for the church to meet it's needs such <br />as constructing or purchasing a satellite church at a <br />different location. <br /> <br />25. Under different scenarios what size of park land is left <br />at Bruce Russell park and what are the guarantees that the <br />City would get to make sure that the park continues to exist. <br /> <br />26. Park space needs to be large enough to allow kids to run. <br /> <br />27. Neighborhood parks are important and have been very beneficial <br />to many families. <br /> <br />28. Can the church use the surrounding streets for parking and <br />would the City be willing be grant variances from parking <br />requirements to reduce the amount of adj acent park land <br />needed. <br /> <br />29. Thirty percent of the people in Roseville do not have a church <br />home. <br /> <br />30. Could sunday school be scheduled at a different time to reduce <br />parking problems. <br /> <br />31. What specific facilities will be available at the two <br />different parks and what guarantees does the city have that <br />they will continue to exist. <br /> <br />32. Could the church build it's new facility at Lexington & B. <br /> <br />33. Could two level parking schemes be explored to provide parking <br />and reduce the amount of adjacent land needed. <br /> <br />34. The child safety needs to be considered at the Lexington & B <br />site because of the amount and speed of traffic. <br /> <br />Other Business <br /> <br />Review of the citv's Home occupation ordinance. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Jopke indicated that the City Council had referred the review of <br />the City's Home Occupation Ordinance to the Planning commission for <br />study and recommendations. Jopke highlighted the issues that have <br />been identified and recommended that the Planning Commission agree <br />on the issues so that staff could bring specific recommendations to <br />
