<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />July 14, 1993 <br /> <br />page# <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Harms, Wall, Rengel, <br />Thomas, Wietecki <br /> <br />Sandstrom, <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment re~ired by Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Jopke highlighted the amendment recommended by the Metropolitan <br />Council. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Issues discussed included the need for information and the impacts <br />on current developments. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Thomas moved and Harms seconded a motion to recommend approval of <br />the language change with the understanding that the language will <br />not change the existing standards of the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Harms, Rengel, Sandstrom, Thomas, <br />Wietecki <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />Wall <br /> <br />Wall indicated that his vote was a result of the lack of <br />information provided in advance to review this amendment properly. <br /> <br />Miscellaneous <br /> <br />Rick Jopke announced that Dennis Welsch has been appointed as the <br />new Community Development Director and will start July 19, 1993. <br /> <br />Rick Jopke also notified Commissioners that there will be a joint <br />Work Session with the City Council July 28, 1993 or July 29, 1993. <br />Commissioners will be notified when the date has been determined. <br /> <br />Wietecki asked to have staff look into the legalities of the City's <br />property dedication policies and report its findings at the next <br />Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 10:50 p.m. <br />
