<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />August 11, 1993 <br /> <br />Page# 2 <br /> <br />Rosewood Estates. <br /> <br />Michelle Starkey, Manager of Rosewood Estates, highlighted her responsibilities and <br />experiences working at Rosewood. <br /> <br />Stephen Burch, architect for Rosewood Estates, presented plans for the proposed <br />addition. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Items discussed included the location of the high water mark on the lake, the setbacks <br />fiom the high water mark on the lake, the design of the skimming devices used on the <br />site, possible drainage issues including the possible need for a holding pond, screening <br />of the parking lot fiom the lake and adjacent residential neighbors, and tree <br />preservation during the construction process. <br /> <br />Citizens <br /> <br />Dave Oren, who owns the new home that is under construction next to Rosewood <br />Estates, asked about the existing trees on the site and whether they will be preserved. <br />He also indicated there is a need for additional screening on the north end of the <br />parking lot. <br /> <br />Bob Slater, owner of the Lake Owasso Marina, indicated that there was a privacy fence <br />constructed recently to screen the site from the adjacent properties. <br /> <br />Greg Perry indicated that his uncle, who passed away recently, had resided at <br />Rosewood Estates. He commented that he highly recommends the facility. <br /> <br />J\cting Chairperson Thomas closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Harms moved and Rengel seconded a motion to recommend approval of Richard <br />Webb/Rosewood Estates request for rezoning, special use permit, variance to the <br />zoning ordinance, and shoreline permit at 2750,2764, and 2774 N. Victoria Street with <br />the following conditions: <br />
