<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />November 10, 1993 <br /> <br />Page# 11 <br /> <br />Citizens <br /> <br />Gary VV ood, Owasso Boulevard, who is representing his parents who live two <br />houses away, stated that the plan will add value to the neighborhood and <br />supports the concept as proposed. <br /> <br />Council Member John Goedeke explained that the shoreland moratorium <br />ordinance applies to any variance that has not been in the application process. <br />Rustad's application was in process. <br /> <br />Chairperson VVietecki closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Roberts moved and Thomas seconded a motion to recommend <br />approval of David Rustad's request for a variance to the zoning ordinance at 329 <br />S. Owasso Boulevard as requested and described by the staff report. <br /> <br />A general discussion of the motion ensued in which members discussed the <br />design of the structure and options to corne back at a later date with a better <br />design. Member Sandstrom asked if a favorable review could be provided by <br />the Department of Natural Resources before acting on the issue.
