Thomas asked that the project be laid over for a month. <br /> <br />No Citizens Appeared <br /> <br />Chairperson VVietecki closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />A general discussion ensued regarding the size of trees, the market for daycare <br />facilities, landscaping and fencing, and building aesthetics. <br /> <br />Chairperson Wietecki explained that there were two ways to handle this issue. <br />One would be to continue the project, the second would be to approve and ask <br />the staff to work with the applicant to provide more detail for the City Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />MOTION: Roberts moved and Sandstrom seconded a motion to recommend <br />approval of Udi Perera (Miniapple International Montessory) request for a <br />special use permit at 1875 VV. Perimeter Drive with the landscape plan to be <br />approved by City staff.. The landscape plan is to provide shade for the outdoor <br />play area, screening for the fencing along Perimeter Drive, vinyl coated fencing, <br />and parking lot repair. <br /> <br />Member VV all asked if there would be a problem with vinyl fencing because it <br />is not attractive.
