<br />Member Roberts stated that the storm water ponding regulations are not sufficient. <br />Member Thomas stated that the city will have to institute a regional ponding and holding <br />system. <br /> <br />Member Sandstrom stated that Section 9 on storm water will be expanded to include the <br />regional ponding and water quality issues. Member Roberts asked for details regarding <br />the lot sizes, especially the 75 foot width by comparison to the 85 foot width required in <br />the city code and in the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br />Member Sandstrom stated that the State standards and the City Code are being compared. <br />The city requirements are currently more restrictive than the State standards. <br /> <br />Member Roberts asked that the staff define the water management overlay district in <br />words and on the map. <br /> <br />Member Wietecki asked that on page 11 the Controlled Access Section be re-written to <br />specifY access sizes for each lake. <br /> <br />Member Wall commended the Technical Committee and Members Sandstrom and Thomas <br />for their work on the project. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki asked that on September 14th, the Committee be prepared to present <br />what impact this ordinance will have on the land it will regulate, and attach a 2-3 page <br />synopsis of the ordinance. <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Roberts moved, seconded by Member Rengel, to continue the public <br />hearing on the Shoreline Ordinance revisions to September 14th. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Thomas, Wall, Roberts, Sandstrom, Rengel, Wietecki <br /> <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki asked the staff to research the notification requirements for the new <br />ordinance as it regards each property owner in the overlay district. <br /> <br />6. Community Development Director, <br />Dennis Welsch, provided a background report in which he reviewed the request from the <br />City Council to amend the Code and the research done by the city staff since the previous <br /> <br />9 <br />
