<br />8. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Establishment of a Special Meeting of the Planning Commission for October 4, <br />1994, at 7:00 p.m. with the Park and Recreation Committee at the Roseville <br />Community Center. <br /> <br />The Commission agreed to hold a special meeting on October 4, 1994, to discuss general park <br />planning issues and discuss the formation of a pathway planning committee with the Park and <br />Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Listing of projects and reviews for the next meeting (verbal report) <br /> <br />Michael Falk provided a verbal report in which he listed projects which will be reviewed <br />future meetings. Commission members asked that the Planning Commission be updated on <br />a regular basis as to what stage each project is in. Members also asked that reports utilized <br />during a normal meeting be improved with video or pictures which illustrate the exteriors of <br />the buildings and sites being considered. <br /> <br />Commission members asked the staff to provide more detail on water ponding and the need <br />for regional ponds and asked if a storm water tour could be arranged between Public Works <br />and the Planning Staff to show the Planning Commission what the ponding looks like today <br />and to develop standards for maintenance and screening of ponds. <br /> <br />Members Harms asked if the staff would consider providing an "office hours report" in which <br />the staff explains projects that are being discussed informally prior to a formal application. <br />The staff will determine how best it get the information to the Commission. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission also reviewed the actions taken by the City Council to adopt the <br />City's Comprehensive Plan. Chairman Kieth Wietecki explained the process and the amount <br />of detail that the City Council reviewed during their September 12, 1994, meeting. The <br />Commission discussed the Council's approval of medium and higher density projects and <br />requested the staff to prepare a tour of high density projects for later in the year. The <br />Commission also asked that a joint meeting be established between the Planning Commission <br />and the City Council with a fixed agenda of items including the medium and high density <br />issues for some time later in the year. <br /> <br />9.
